Processes of change among adolescents who have committed acts of sexual violence: the contribution of projective tests
Type de matériel :
19
This article presents the results of an exploratory study focusing on processes of change in adolescents who have perpetrated sexual violence and who receive psychotherapeutic treatment. The methodology is based on a longitudinal-type approach, with data being collected from group treatment and from projective tests at two stages of treatment. Projective data from nine adolescents are the subject of this article (with Rorschach and TAT offered at, on average, eight months intervals). The qualitative analysis of this data is carried out along five axes, established on the basis of the literature, and from the perspective of the Paris School. The results show the existence of demonstrable potential for change, albeit to differing degrees depending on the analytic axis. The interrelation between the processes of change mobilized through psychotherapeutic treatment and the process of adolescence must also be emphasized, along with the pronounced narcissistic fragility which these adolescents attest to.
