Emergency caesarean section: from distress to illusion
Type de matériel :
31
We support the hypothesis that the birth of a baby, and in particular an emergency caesarean section, is an opportunity to live a regressive experience, resonating with the primary experiences of the subject. The archaic experiences of parturients during childhood are then recalled and the caesarean section risks being experienced as a moment of distress. However, the parenting position of the obstetrical team can allow the caesarean section to be the occasion of a positive illusion, which supports the psychic integration of this event. Failing that, a subsequent meeting with a caregiver, inscribed in a primary caring concern, may allow the distress to be soothed. This is what we will study through three clinical vignettes.
