The Complexity of Psychosis
Type de matériel :
87
Today, psychosis can be considered a complex phenomenon with an uncertain prognosis. The causes are just as likely to be mental as neurobiological or somatic and we have to go beyond the body/mind duality to set up models which take account of the complexity of the phenomenon. This concept opens up the possibility of a more contemporary clinical approach aiming for therapeutic efficiency and for an impact on ongoing training. The way to bring this about is by forging a harmonious link between psychiatry and psychoanalysis.
