A certification is a question of legitimising an existing practice, developing and securing its power to act in concert with the actors of the care and support structures, and creating an environment for exchanges on practices. The certification process – individualised, respectful, and professionalising – is based on reflective work on our experiential knowledge with regard to a reference document, a repository of activities and skills, that takes into account all areas of patient-expert activities.
