This text offers a reflection on the contribution of psychoanalysis to the dynamic thinking of Michel Thévoz, art historian and first curator and director of the Collection de l’Art Brut in Lausanne. The aim is to show, through an approach to Thévoz’s writings and public talks, how the collaboration between Art Brut and psychoanalysis permeates his reflections on the margins of creation. This collaboration helps to clarify both the relationship between madness (psychopathology) and creation, and the conditions in which the creative process emerges.
