In this paper, we try to advance the study of the reconfiguration of collaborative production of technoscientific knowledge, from a dual strategy: on a conceptual and methodological dimension, we analyse the capacity of three representative epistemological approaches usefull for the study of the scientific production mutations, namely : interdisciplinarity, boundary-object and translation. On an empirical dimension, we analyse the results of an ethnographic study of a case of collaboration between a team of physicists specialized on shock waves and another team of urologist, working together for the integration of a technoscientific field called lithotripsie extracorporeal, vis-à-vis the epistemological capacity of those approaches to improve understanding of technoscientific collaborative work.
