In Economics, the fight of Heterodoxy against Orthodoxy is turning to the advantage of the latter. It results mainly from two series of factors : the orthodoxy did not stop evolving and taking over the criticisms, it has henceforth multiple faces and the debates take place on its territory ; the orthodox theories are essentially normative and the social reality tends more and more to conform to their prescriptions. By concentrating their criticisms on the lack of realism of these theories, the heterodox miss the main target. If they do not succeed in federating in order to propose a credible and attractive social alternative, they will be condemned to lead a hopeless guerilla on the margins of the orthodox empire.
