François de Menthon, a great forgotten figure of the resistance
Type de matériel :
32
From the autumn of 1940, François de Menthon published the secret newspaper Liberté that promoted resistance to Nazi occupiers. This man from Savoy was one of the designers of the political program of the National Council of the Resistance and later became a prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials. He has, alas, been largely forgotten and yet deserves to be remembered as a true freedom fighter.
