Quantum Mechanics as an Essentially Relational Theory
Type de matériel :
26
If the idea that science cannot access hypothetical absolute determinations of what is but only relations is not a novel one, this article shows that we owe quantum mechanics for having systematized the relational character of scientific knowledge. This article clarifies the types of relation that come into play and the reasons why they have been ignored by classical physics prior to quantum physics and calls for a discussion on the full philosophical implications of relation.
