Human beings are naturally predisposed to goodness

Human beings are naturally predisposed to goodness. This has been observed through research in neurobiology, baby psychology, experimental economics, etc. Even wars and genocides are more easily explained by psychosocial and contextual processes (general conditioning of minds, submission to authority, increasing the physical distance between the killer and his victims) than by a so-called biological atavism. The selfish conception of the human being, disseminated by the majority of economists, is today contradicted by contemporary scientific knowledge. This invites us to look at the human being in an “optirealistic” way and to envisage the emergence of a friendly society.
