Sorting of Migrants, Racism and Solidarity at Europe’s Borders: Investigations in Poland

It gives an overview of what has been portrayed as a “hybrid war”, orchestrated by Belarus against Europe, instrumentalizing tens of thousands of migrants in search of a better life, and the exodus of several million Ukrainians welcomed with open arms by the entire European Union. In doing so, the paper questions the impact of the political context on people in solidarity’s activities, and the weight of racism in foreigners’ reception in Europe.
