Bordeaux wines, like all products and services, do not escape the need for both consumers and producers to locate the products they want to buy or sell. The traditional means of hierarchization are three in number: the market, the law and the association. Each of these means of prioritization does not present the same risks, the same advantages or the same disadvantages. The joint use that Bordeaux wines make of these tools leads to fine hierarchies of wines that have a greater or lesser plasticity.
