An innovative management of a healthy small business transfer process into a workers’ cooperative (SCOP)

This article aims at comprehending how a healthy SME gets transferred into a SCOP, by emphasizing the links between the actors involved and the process. Taking into account the notion of “social development” enables to grasp through which steps the owner and managing director naturally hands over to the employees. An exploratory qualitative approach using a case study points out the innovative management of the transmission in terms of process anticipation and actors preparation.
