Continuous training is now a pillar of company management, to which the HRM should give due importance, especially since with the development of ICTs, we have been witnessing, in recent years changes in training practices and a boost of e-learning.Several researchers have show that the learner’s individual characteristics have an influence on the effectiveness of the training action. As far as we are concerned, and as part of this approach, we have sought to analyze the effectiveness of the e-learning training that takes place in a business context. Our goal is to tackle this issue from the point of view of the learners, and to analyze the link between the learner’s motivation in the training action and the effectiveness of the latter in the context of e-learning training. This research was carried out on a sample of 250 Tunisian executives working in a large public company: the French post office. The results that we have reached lead us to emphasize, among other things, the substantial weight of the intrinsic motivation of the learners in the improvement of e-learning training.
