Higher Education Institutions in digital era: a future vision

But at the same time, it involves recognizing the need to change and adapt to future challenges. This paper seeks to analyze the future of technological higher education mainly facing the integration of changes in the environment in a direct interrelation with the digital revolution, which characterizes a radical change in the business world and therefore in the labor market, and the changes facing work, with the creation of new jobs that require upgraded skills, integrated with the future of technological higher education in the face of these changes. The three themes together, digitalization, the future of work and the future of education, constitute a challenge that technological higher education institutions must face with the full awareness that change will not wait for them. Therefore, they must integrate into a new environment as an expanded institution able of facing the future in better conditions.
