Contribution to the comparative exploration of personalized counselling of compelled and opportunistic entrepreneurs

Personalizing the entrepreneurial accompaniment from a blank page can slow down and disorient the interventions of the counsellors. To avoid such risks, we explore comparatively in this article the personalized accompaniment of necessity and opportunity entrepreneurs. The results of a study of 56 Tunisian entrepreneurs and two managers of public counselling structures reveal that individualized accompaniment of these two types of entrepreneur is both similar and different. It is in both cases psychological and composed according to the profile and the ambitions/needs/context triad of the entrepreneur. However, if it is planned, benevolent, empathetic, mobilizing and prolonged for compelled entrepreneurs, it turns out to be constructed, heuristic, creative and emancipatory for opportunity entrepreneurs.
