The purpose of this article is to determine the influence of economic stability, recognition of achievement, wage flexibility, internal flexibility, occupational health and safety facilities, and company development in the employment stability, of businessmen in retail businesses in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, with a sample of 50 businesses. Through a descriptive, correlational and multiple regression analysis approach. The results reveal that the job stability of the owners of retail businesses is good, they expect recognition of achievement and the economic stability variable has a significant influence on the explanatory model
