Different models of decision making have been proposed in the scientific literature for understanding consumer decisions and the impact of marketing actions on them. This approach to measuring impact is also relevant for the public sphere. Indeed, public environmental policy implements tools aimed at promoting behaviors among target groups. From this perspective, behavioral psychology can be used to improve the performance of this type of policy. The author compares different empirical models that contribute to a better understanding of the impact of environmental measures .
