Administrative responsibility in Germany: comparison with French law based on practical case studies

Examining original approaches taken to resolve specific cases under French and German law highlights the way in which administrative responsibility is handled in the two States. The diversity of the systems is indicative of different theoretical approaches to tort law. This study also highlights some features of German tort law, bringing out its contemporary trends, limitations and merits in the light of French law.
