This article provides a narrative synthesis of the literature on solidarity in management sciences. Research on solidarity initially developed on the margins: in alternative organizations, or in the Social and Solidarity Economy. In the context of the need for a social and ecological transition, the concept has moved to the core of management sciences, generating challenges and tensions.
