There is no clearly identifiable body of legal provisions governing the relatives of the civil servant. The relative are, however, subject to provisions that sometimes date back a long way in the civil service status. These provisions, which were recently expanded with the laws of 2016 and 2019, concern the protection of relatives on the one hand, and precautions regarding their exercise of certain activities on the other.
