From teachers’ beliefs to students’ perceptions of digital technology: Differentiating discrepancies? A study based on the Twictée teaching scenario
Type de matériel :
71
This study questions the convergences and divergences, potentially differentiating in terms of learning, in the perceptions of digital technology held by teachers and students participating in a spelling teaching scenario. Digital technology is at the heart of this pedagogical scenario and provides potential added value but, ultimately, it increases the difficulty for the students interviewed. This difficulty is not fully perceived by teachers who overestimate the benefits of digital technology in general and do not appreciate the didactic potential of digital technology in the aforementioned teaching scenario in particular, because of their beliefs both about digital technology and about teaching spelling.
