— The theme of this congress is more particularly considered in the context of the relation between continuity and discontinuity. The three following areas are discussed: nosography, economics and language. In each case the notion of a border between inside and out, between subject and object and between « present » and libidinal energy, is both unclear and arbitrary. Precise technical measures are subsequently proposed.
