— After a brief interlude, Mnémosyne, a young bilingual woman was no longer able « to connect » as she put it. Changing track and language, she then said in English: « I’m trying to break trough the ice. » « Trying » obviously implies an attempt and « break through » evokes the idea of forcing one’s way through an obstacle. Both the phrase and its structural elements thus constitute an acoustic-representative pole of exchange that is a pivot for a topical and formal regression of thought that on bringing to light heterochronic fragments of events and prompts a preliminary consideration of the power of words and the negative dimension that is revealed. Let us therefore once again underline the evocative power of language and the fact that revelation necessarily depends on representability.
