The Disappearance of Infantile Sexuality in Contemporary Psychoanalysis
Type de matériel :
7
Genital and pre-genital sexual drives, retroaction and double meaning of words have long disappeared from the field of psychoanalysis in the Anglo-Saxon world. The disappearance of these three aspects of infantile sexuality are a symptom of the analytic family, that is to say, the similar anomalies that occur in the setting of both Melanie Klein and Anna Freud's training. This hypothesis is based on a reconsideration of the beginning of Melanie Klein's account of the treatment of Richard, which brings to light the fact that she omitted to consider the role of the setting employed in this particular case.
