Somatic fetish as the commonest fate of traces?

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2023. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : In this article, based on data from investigations of patients suffering from severe autoimmune or cancerous somatoses and on modern biology, the author presents an extension of fetishism to the whole of psychosomatic life along a spectrum including somatization, which is to be considered as a somatic fetish. This somatic fetish would condense both the expression of multiple traumatic traces and the creation to defend against them, so that analysis of the fetish’s characteristics may provide retrospective access to some determinants of somatization.
