The missing “no”

This article uses three literary texts to understand the ability to say “no” and its impediments. It shows in particular that it is situations of extreme distress which are at the origin of an unspeakable, excluding both “yes” and “no” and prohibiting access to psychic conflict. As a conclusion, it draws some reflections about the end of analysis.
