The objectless trace of the maternal constitutes the canvas of the psyche that serves as a foundation for various functions such as?: ante-predicative negation, a source of later judgement; the oceanic feeling, a source of belief; and rhythm, a source of temporality and self-representation. All these elements exist in relation with the quality of satisfaction, which is itself dependent on the bi-parental sexuality that provides the necessary sublimations for constructing the psyche.
