This introduction illustrates the main themes of work in the ‘Interlectures’ seminar: opening up – and considering together through the sessions – the area of work that is instigated, each with its own methods, by lectures referring to psychoanalytic practice, philosophical or literary analysis and poetic listening. It is expected that the convergences and dissonances that they bring out will enable the text to be brought to life where it seizes our attention: in the fragile, always uncertain articulation where a human word, through language and representation, grapples with the unconscious source of words and images, of language and representation.
