The Oneiric Work of the Unconscious Ego
Type de matériel :

Some analysands’ dreams show the necessity of thinking/dreaming the emotional situation linked to a shortcoming of the analyst. They often reveal the existence of a split be-tween a paralysed preconscious and an operational unconscious ego, depicting experience. The split highlights the antagonism between these two modes of functioning. The author ex-tends the notion of the unconscious ego and attributes it with an elaborative function ana-lagous to Bion’s “dream work alpha”. The preconscious/unconscious ego split is the rule in certain analysands.
