Questions of origin and identity in children today

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2020. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : In our world of excessive stimulation, the lack of relationships and attention makes the model child sad. Psychoanalytic theory, with its economic vision of the psyche as a means of regulating and discharging quantities of affects, is fully applicable to young people who, unfortunately, are increasingly depressed and subject to ever greater addictive needs. Problems of identity are at the centre of these disorders, which are now associated with the question of origins in view of the great number of births after medical intervention. Parenting that is mobilised by narcissistic needs is sometimes too masochistic, but sustained by powerful ideals transmitted to the child who is without resources because he is insufficiently contained. Infantile sexuality does not seem to fulfil its role as an organiser of the libido and of mobilisations of sublimation well. The hypersexualisation of the life of children often leads to addictive games and seems to be linked to an aggravation of depression in adolescence.
