Psychoanalysis is the space of survival

The analytic space is a temporary space between exodus and exile before the return: one does not leave Jerusalem when one enters psychoanalysis. But above all, the psychoanalytic space is a temporality of the transference-countertransferential relationship, that of survival. Ultimately it is the space of listening to the flesh of words. This listening transforms traumas into an internal experience, an appropriation of life even in death. It is the space where the human species fights for life.
