The article describes the transformation of the French analytical landscape of the 1970s, with the arrival on the couches of survivors of the Nazi genocide. Dedicated to Georges Perec’s relations with analysis, it describes several attempts to modify the standard treatment. Pontalis, Stewart, Torok and Abraham help us to reflect on the dangers posed by elaborating massive traumas and to define the type of causality these dangers involve.
