Toward a framework for the regulation of digital platforms?

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2019. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The platform economy leads to the disruption of known legal categories. The regulatory vacuum in which it has so far flourished is now showing its limitations. Does this mean that we need to adopt “traditional” regulatory measures and, if so, in what areas? How should we consider the powerful mechanisms of self-regulation developed by platforms and make them more effective? How are they to be tamed and made to serve the public, rather than the private, interest? These are some of the questions discussed in the present contribution.
