“This flour provides iron”. An analysis of a nutrition program in Madagascar
Type de matériel :
17
This article examines a program launched in 1997 by scientific, industrial, and international aid actors to tackle malnutrition in Madagascar. It questions the effects of adopting private sector management tools on an aid program. The data used were collected through three fieldwork investigations carried out between 2015 and 2018. This article focuses on the introduction of an objective of financial viability in an aid program. It insists on the real constraints and dependency that lead to directing public action toward a solvent population.
