Type de matériel :

Every year, many foreign children are adopted in France : 1,343 in 2013 compared with only 697 native born, according to the annual assessment of the Foreign Ministry. One can assume that adopted children want to read stories about adopted children, hence the proliferation of books on the subject. However, rare are the scientific studies dedicated to the representation of adoption conveyed in such books. With the globalisation of adoption, questions about those books to decipher explicit and implicit messages on adoption seems relevant. This paper analyzes 17 albums and books extracted from a corpus of 75 works proposed mostly by the cells of adoption of departments or associations of adoption, to help adoptive parents and their children.
