Teaching entrepreneurship requires questioning the content of the business proposal as much as the means of implementation. Regarding this last point, the aim of this paper is to highlight the phenomenon of coaching within its current field of use. To do so, we present what we understand by a “project,” and the contribution of this idea to the teaching of entrepreneurship. Secondly, support for project owners is described as an educational process necessary to steer the entrepreneurial project. On the basis of these structural elements, the coaching process is presented via several definitions provided by the main professional federations and numerous practitioners.
