The troubles in France related to the Middle East conflict are not the signs of a forthcoming anti-Semitism as it existed years ago, that is as the will to eliminate Jews from society. It is rather a strategy developed by Islamic fundamentalist in order to fight against democracy and the Western world: by attacking the Jews, they are aiming the weakest part of the West. To stop this violence Jews and Arabs must meet and try to enter into dialogue with each other, so that they can understand that while there are political problems between them, cultural and religious problems are not insurmountable.
