The Body, Reservoir of the Unconscious
Type de matériel :
76
The body, the reservoir of the unconscious, organizes the functions that support verbal behavior. The author hypothesizes that bodily signifiers may be understood as having the value of language when the subject is in a conflictual situation or encounters the uncanny. The group, as organizer of the transference, directs psychoanalytic attention to the body in motion, as it enacts the ongoing processes of modifying desire, the acte manqué, the Freudian slip, denial, and splitting.
