Interpretation in Couple and Family Psychoanalytic Therapies: The Final Touch
Type de matériel :
37
"After having explored the analogies and differences between group psychoanalytic therapy and family psychoanalytic therapy, the author discusses the way the group psychoanalytic therapy (GPT) applies to couple and family psychoanalytic therapy (CFPT), especially when it comes to interpretation and its goals. Couple and family therapists often create constructions, verbal recollection of group productions being one example. It’s the « final touch » which synthesizes each intervention ; this is what helps mutation in CFPT, equivalent to what Strachey wished for in individual psychoanalysis interpretation."
