The aim of this article is to analyse the therapeutic specificity of group theatre mediation with adolescents. After describing the setting, the author studies the way in which the metaframe of this treatment space induces issues concerning the universalization of fantasies and the questioning of places in the patient group. Theatrical play, owing to its very characteristics, orients the frame towards this articulation of the subject with the socius. It also offers an exploration of the body on the basis of specific aesthetic codes. It appears that this exploration of the body in question enables the adolescent group to put to work the “plural singular” inherent to subjective construction. In conclusion, it seems that therapeutic theatre mediation with groups of adolescents is a setting that has the potential to bring into play issues related to limits, as they are raised within contemporary society, in the state of ill-being which is characteristic of it.
