Welcoming what is “New”
Type de matériel :
34
The new is a figure of the unfamiliar which, because it is always experienced as an intruder, arouses ambivalence and rejection and calls into question the psychic economy and group alliances which encounter it and in which it must or wishes to have its place. In order to counter the emergence of hatred and facilitate its integration, groups, depending on their nature and the social-historical context, set up rituals in order to support the initiatory process of affiliation. In the context of contemporary anomia and hypermodern desubjectivation, the question of the narcissistic contract re-emerges as an urgent necessity to articulate the transsubjective, the intersubjective and the idiosyncratic as a condition for welcoming what is new.
