This article present the effects on exiled families of the war currently taking place in Europe, starting from the problem of how war interferes with the bonds of filiation, the founding nucleus of the family. To this end, we have created a setting that is “made to measure”, on the assumption that the encounter between several families sharing the same suffering can provide a space of support, to which we have added the realization of group drawings facilitating symbolization. We hypothezize that the psychoanalytical multi-family clinical setting and the method of analysing group drawings makes it possible to contain the primitive anxieties of families mobilized by war and forced migration. To do this, it is necessary to create a transitional space linking the languages of the country of origin and the host country. In this sense, this care setting for family groups could open up a path towards the symbolization of the “nameless terror” of war.
