The New Brunswick Declaration: How our foreign colleagues are giving new meaning to research ethics (and why we should care)
Type de matériel :

Since the 1980s, there has been a growing institutionalization of research ethics review boards in the social sciences internationally. However, this bureaucratic system has been criticized. In New Brunswick, Canada, in 2012, researchers from around the world met to discuss possible alternatives to the ethical regulation frameworks they face today. Until now, management research in France has kept its distance from these conversations. As research ethics committees appear within our institutions, though, we believe it is time for us to join the debate and avoid the mistakes made in other countries.
