The self-normativity process in caregivers’ training and support

Its active, paradoxical aspect is highlighted, as well as the difficulty for the caregiver in detecting it as a normative process, even in the framework of apparently pathological behaviors. I therefore invite caregivers to open their mind and listen to the chronically ill patient during clinical examination.
