We retrace here the intellectual journey of Marc Faessler, a reformed theologian whose commitment as a pastor open to the challenges of the world leads endlessly to the living sources of the biblical Scriptures. In constant dialogue with Jewish thought, he discovers in the philosophical work of Emmanuel Levinas an anthropological radicality that allows him to grasp differently and more generously the fundamental orientations of his own tradition.
