Ventriloquist Stories. Can We Interpret Contemporary Art the Way Lacan Interpreted the Letter?
Type de matériel :

This paper transposes the issue of the recipient of “The Purloined Letter” as Lacan read it to that of art within the order of the signifier. The symptomatic image of contemporary society is considered as a ventriloquist image. Alain Resnais, Eric Duyckaerts, and Sharif Waked help us to qualify the double layers that upset the context of ordinary agreement in order to create an aestheticism of the disconnected.
