Two archetypes, both substratums and driving lines of the imaginary, denote the plurality of the myths and representations of the far right: the “mourning of invisible guarantors”, the archetype of Being, which in turn determines political imagination, representations and perception of the world; and “cyclical time and waiting for the return”, the archetype of Time, determining individual and collective history, foundation of an ideological dynamic built on the cycle of the eternal return. These two archetypes imply both an initiatory mode of transmission of doctrinal content, and the over-valuing of the secret as an ontological category and mode of functioning of militant structures.
