Technological Mediations in the Contemporary Urban Area

The increasing use of information and communication technologies in everyday life creates a new spatial configuration that is related to new forms of relationship. These changes implement a shared thinking based on collective representations of everyday life that recognizes the primacy of affect, in the sense of "being affected" by the technological objects, the space and the experience. This article presents a reflection about digital mediation into these three dimensions of urban space (physical, social and imaginary) where we observe an hybridization of socio-spatial interactions with the digital forms of information and communication.
