This article explores the relationship between imagination and the notion of creation. Based on the observation that creation is often associated with an idea, a concept, we advocate the dimension of the sensitive in the creative process that connects us to the unconscious and the imaginary. We consider the imagination as the breeding ground for creativity, where the sensitive takes its place in relation to the rationalization of our modern thinking. In this, creation uses a collective energy, which repeats, renews and extends in time. Therefore, artistic education, intended to train people in creation, appears as a collective learning process where the imagination is a territory of sharing.
